Lowel-Light, the Academy Award winning world leader in location lighting for film & video, introduces the first fixture in the new Lowel Prime LED system, a set of new powerful lighting fixtures that bring state of the art LED technology to studios and location productions
The first release is the Lowel Prime 400, which boasts a powerful output of 89 foot candles at 9 ft with a beam angle of 50 degrees. It has a tungsten color output at 3200k, and a CRI of 91+ which mixes perfectly existing tungsten-halogen fixtures as well as high CRI tungsten color fluorescent lamps. Its DMX jacks allow connection and communication with DMX-512 control systems.
As mentioned, Prime 400 is the first in a series of newLED fixtures that Lowel will be releasing. A Daylight color version of the 400 is expected to be released shortly, as well further tungsten & daylight color models. All models will auto-set to voltages from 90 - 240V. There will also be accessories such as Barn Doors , Diffusers, and Honeycomb Grids for each fixture.
