Lowel Light's new Ego Digital Imaging Light was a popular arrival at New York City's 2005 Photo Plus trade show at the Javits Center. The tabletop daylight fluorescent light was set up in different configurations on a handful of work stations where show attendees could see its easy to achieve results.
One station had a HD DV camera pointed at model Corvette, lit by 2 Egos & staged on an Ego Sweep background, with its image relayed to an HD monitor positioned above. Visitors frequently had to wave their hands in front of the camera to convince themselves they were looking at a live picture & that the Ego really was creating these results.
"Ego has been getting a really great level of interest" said East Coast Sales Director, Eric Druker.Ý Pros & amateurs alike are finding ways they could use it to get great looking tabletop images".
