May 2003 DV Revolution Tour Returns, see Lowel Lights in Action |
|
Lowel-Light is proud to announce their involvement in the DV Revolution
Free Seminar Tour, continuing this quarter with the first seminar on May
9, 2003 in San Francisco. The nationwide tour features Lowel's brand new
DV Creators Kits and showcases DVcreators.net's innovative methodology
for shooting, editing and delivering digital video content.
In each free seminar, a top industry expert from DVcreators.net will create a complete digital video project in 2 1/2 hours -- revealing a treasure trove of valuable secrets, tips and tricks for achieving spectacular, world class results from inexpensive, state-of-the-art DV hardware and software. They will be using Lowel equipment to demonstrate professional lighting techniques in each of the seminars. "Shooting with today's impressive compact digital video cameras, and editing on the new breed of powerful personal computers, have brought speed, versatility, & portability to the creation of professional moving images. You can really create a quality production at a reasonable price." said Lowel President Marvin Seligman. "Lowel is the perfect match for this way of working, since that's been our philosophy from the beginning." "Lighting is the most important factor in the visual quality of your finished video or film project" said Josh Mellicker, President/CEO of DVcreators.net. "The reason we've used Lowel lighting kits in our DV Revolution Workshops, held in 20 cities and four countries over the last four years, is because they are rugged and reliable, provide a great deal of flexibility in lighting a variety of scenes for the class project, and are a great value to recommend to the student- since they cost half the price of comparable professional kits". Each seminar's project will be lit with Lowel kits, shot on Canon's new GL2 digital camcorder, then edited with Pinnacle's new Edition software bundle running on a blazing fast, Intel Pentium 4 powered computer to create a final video masterpiece that can be delivered on DVD, CD-ROM or the Internet as well as VHS tape or broadcast television.
