For the
emerging DV creator pro on the run, Lowel introduces 3 new kits. They
combine fixtures from several of Lowel's classic lighting systems, providing
versatility & reliability in a compact kit that's as easy to carry
as it is to use. Featuring the popular Pro-light, the equally legendary
Tota-light® and Omni-light, as well as 2 models of the ultra-soft,
quick setup Rifa-lite®, plus light controls, compact Uni-stands,
and rugged cases with movable velcro partitions for custom packing.
For local travel, they are also available in soft cases.
Inspired
by our involvment in DVcreator.nets DV Revolution tour (see seperate
news release), these kits combine popular Lowel fixtures in compact
cases with accessories to maximize versatility in a small, easy to use
package.
DV Creator
Kit 1 is the basic model, combining a Pro-light, with a Tota & an
Omni-light, plus light control accessories such as gel frames &
reflective umbrella.

Kit 44 adds our new compact Rifa-lite 44, a 250w collapsible softlight

Equipment
Overview
- 250
watt Pro-light has a 5:1 focusing range with smooth wide flood &
tight spot, a wide range of available accessories, and can be easily
converted for 50/100w battery operation. Good low level key light,
accent light, fill light (with diffusion) or back light.
n Versatile 500 watt Omni-light has a 6:1 focusing range, lower wattage
lamp options, optional reflectors and many other light control accessories.
Quickly converts for 100/250w battery operation. Built for a rugged
life as a medium power key light, and with diffusion or umbrella as
a soft key or fill light.
- 750
watt broad throw Tota-light gives strong & even 180° illumination
to large areas. With 360° constant tension no yoke tilting, adjustable
reflectors, and large cool knobs. Add gel frame & diffusion or
umbrella for use as soft key or fill light. Lower wattage lamps available.
- 250
watt (model LC-44) or 500 watt (model LC-55) Rifa-lites are dedicated
soft lights that are self-contained, efficient, and go from carry
bag to stand, fully set up, in 60 seconds. Optional diffusers and
fabric egg-crates are available as light controls. Rifa 44 can also
be quickly converted for 50/100 watt battery operation. Perfect as
soft key or fill light, also good for table-top lighting with little
or no shadow.

Kit accessories include reflective umbrella for softening output of
Pro, Tota & Omni, Gel-frames for Pro & Tota/Omni, assorted
gels for daylight blue correction (to mix tungsten with daylight),
diffusion, and neutral density (to reduce output), Tota-flag &
flexi-shafts for added light control, plus foam filled lampaks to
safely store & transport lamps (lamps not included).
