April 2001 Lowel Studio Fluorescent Wins NAB 2001 New Product Award |
For the
second year in a row, Lowel-Light Mfg. have received honors for a new
product at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) tradeshow
in Las Vegas. An 'Editors Pick of Show' was awarded by the editors of
Digital TV magazine for the Lowel Fluo-Tec line of studio fluorescent
equipment. The award was presented in recognition of "Achievement
and Advancement of the Art and Science of Digital TV".
The Lowel Fluo-Tec studio line is a family of 10 flicker-free dimmable and non-dimmable fluorescent fixtures, all with newly updated state of the art electronics and ETL/CSA approval. The dimmable models are fully DMX-512 compatible and can be dimmed manually on the unit, via DMX lighting console, or with the revolutionary new Lowel IR handheld remote control (for DMX dimming in smaller shooting sets that don't have a console). They are ideal for video production studios, high resolution digital photography, 24 hour TV news rooms, and corporate video conferencing rooms needing an efficient source of soft daylight or tungsten color. On receipt of this honor, Lowel president Marvin Seligman stated, "This is a real honor, to be awarded as one of best new products at NAB, where so many impressive new products are unveiled each year. We're really thrilled." Last year the popular Lowel Caselites received a similar honor on their debut at NAB 2000. Click here for the Fluo-Tec Catalog in PDF format Available Now. |
