February 2001 Lowel/Fluo-TecTM Studio Fluorescents, Now State of the Art & ETL Approved. |
The world leader in location lighting is now also #1 in studio fluorescent
light control. Lowel has announced a major updating of the
Lowel/Fluo-TecTM studio line of fluorescent equipment. In addition,
the entire line has received ETL/CSA approval.
The dimmable models now feature state of the art electronics with integrated DMX-512 circuitry, allowing full control from any DMX console. A new membrane style digital control panel on the back of the unit allows manual dimming, manual storage of 4 dimmer settings, and lamp-life monitoring. DMX address for the unit is easily set, and is displayed in the unit's LED window for easy referral, especially when multiple units are hung on a grid. An installed Remote Port will accept the planned IR remote control accessory, which will allow remote dimming without the need of a console. The full Lowel/Fluo-Tec studio line consists of 5 dimmable and 5 non-dimmable fluorescent fixtures using from 2 to 8 compact 55 Watt fluorescent lamps in daylight or tungsten color corrections, plus a host of accessories.
