A 26 member judging panel, made up of editors of TELEVISION BROADCAST
magazine have unanimously selected Lowel's new compact Caselite fluorescent
to be honored with a "Pick of Show" award at the recent NAB 2000 in
Las Vegas.

thrill to have the first product of our new collaborative relationship
with Fluo-Tec result in an award here at NAB 2000." said Lowel President
Marvin Seligman. "We've been excited about this product from the start,
and it's gratifying to see it being recognized for it's innovation". The
Caselite is a compact, lightweight, rugged and completely self contained
fluorescent unit that is both light & case combined. There are 2 models,
the Caselite 2 and Caselite 4, with two and four 55 watt tubes, respectively.
Both are capable of 120/230v operation, and can use Daylight (5400) or
Tungsten (3000) corrected T-55 compact tubes. Pop the lid and there's
room inside for spare bulbs, stand fitting tilt-bracket & plate, plus
power cord and rain cover. Lowel's new Uni Sr. Stand can also fit in the
lid, creating a compact kit option. With an internal ballast, separate lamp switching,
snap-on egg crate, and dual-purpose barndoor / intensifiers,
the Caselites are designed to offer beautiful, soft, easy to use fluorescents
in a compact, easy to carry, location friendly system.
