This 1 person news anchor setup uses a semi-circular approach for lighting the talent in a style that's soft and flattering. Soft key is above the camera, and fill light comes from aproximately 45° angles on either side. Backlight from above / behind talent helps separate him / her from the background, and creates a sense of depth.
All fixtures have intensifiers with honeycomb grids as front accessories. Intensifiers increase output and compensate for the light loss of the honeycomb grids, which are used in varying strengths to limit spill.
The below listed fixtures are chosen for a studio with 9-11 ft ceiling heights. To light from higher placed lighting grids, it may be necessary to use more powerful fixtures.
